Thank you to all who joined and shared input on the draft comprehensive plan at the August 10th Open House and Planning Board public hearing. Comments received spanned interest in the planned road connections; greenways, trails, and open space; and the importance of downtown and adding places that people want to visit, such as arts and cultural uses and a new theater. Support for the plan focused on the vision, emphasis on walkability, and approach to balanced growth.
At their regular meeting on Wednesday, August 26th at 6:30pm at the Municipal Council Chambers, the Town of Kernersville Board of Aldermen will review and consider adoption of the draft comprehensive plan.
